Genting 2006

On his birthday, we waxed him alive. However, when he was leaving.. We all went to Genting.

Ok, non-RVN readers (they actually exist, i just found out), this's a Genting trip that we planned as a fairwell thing for Richard as he recently just left for Langkawi (read the previous 2 posts). Anyhoo, i'm kinda lazy la so here's how it went, mostly in photos :

Okay since we're in the "Fuck la.. Richard's gone!" mood. I'll write abt his departure first.

7.15 am..

"Eh, I coming now wei." I just finished taking a shower when Ben made that call. Mahai richard, if ur reading this in Langawi.. I don't even wake up that early for college. Tiu.

All of us met up @ Shaun's (big suprise here). At around 7.40am but waited for Mr.123456 till 8.15am. Everybody drove like FUCKING maniacs so just we could be in time to spend at LEAST 30 mins with the captain.

Well.. We were in luck as all of us managed to reach at around 9am (which was cool.. as his departure time was 9.30am). We were looking for the correct counter until we saw someone that was IMPOSSIBLE to miss. (although easily forgotten for a few yumcha sessions)

It was Captain Richard.

Tribute to Brian Richard Louis

To all RVN’s, Richard has left the building.. k la, he’s not half way across the world or sth .. good news is that he’s still in msia.. and he can come back sometimes.. bad news is that he’s not gonna be there at lotus, mu matches, futsal, football, shisha sessions(freaking portugese lungs), ac(although he doesn’t do anything, but he’s always there).. don’t u realise? he doesnt play foos and pool.. but he's always there.. more often than anyone else who actually plays.. and above all, he doesnt complain.. although he doesnt have a commanding presence there, but he's always a commanding force on the futsal courts and football fields.. putting his body on the line for the team.. especially his head.. richard, hope u get to read this while ur in langkawi, on behalf of everyone, we apologise for any hurtful things we've done or said.. like forget to call u out sumtimes(woops, yea, we forgot to call u out for lunch a few times.. sorry man),and on behalf of chris, im apologising for him if u felt offended when he called u fat a couple of times..ahaha.. and making u wait at ac or riley or even breakers just so we can finish our game.. and i personally apologise for all the tiu'ing during futsal/football.. but hey, its because i know u can do better.. some of us have known u for more than 10 yrs(skdj1) and the rest at least 5 yrs(smdj).. we're gonna miss u buddy.. take care and have fun.. ur gonna do good.. dont be a stranger.. godspeed..

Absence makes the heart grow fonder

Okla...as u all know i'll be leaving for Langkawi for the flying academy. This is kinda like a goodbye to u all. I just want u guys to know that i will miss you all...i know la its not like im going to some foreign country half around the world and i can come back like every week if i wanted to...but still...i wont be able to hang out and see as much of u guys...yamcha in lotus...wasting time at shauns house...doing stupid stuff and more la. Anyways thanks for everything...thanks for the trip to genting...had alot of fun. Most importantly thanks for the memories, thanks for the laughter, thanks for the smiles and thanks for the friendship. I'll try and make it back for Christmas and Chinese New Year and hopefully for all of ur other farewells(and maybe bring back some yummy yummy liquor...i mean the beer there is cheaper then water...u open the tap, beer comes out). I realise that when i finally finish my training and come back in about 14 months, most of u guys would have gone overseas to further ur studies...so incase i dun get to see u before u leave...sorry for my past wrong doings and goodluck to u. God willing one fine day in the future when we each own part of the world we would still see each other. Ok ciao people. See you when I see u. take care.
